MESA Strategic Roadmap

A MESA is a document that describes the strategy for a service, capability, or technology area.

MESA stands for Michigan Enterprise Strategic Assessment. The MESA was initially developed to provide a simple format for IT leaders in higher education to document their technology roadmaps. It is based on a typical product lifecycle graph shown on a single PowerPoint page. Other pages were added to provide the strategic context for the roadmap.

I have updated the MESA format to make it easier to show the reasoning behind the decisions shown on the roadmap.
